Markus's bio and track record

Markus Kilian is a PhD candidate at the department of Theoretical Meteorology at the University of Hamburg. His research focuses on regional climate models and impact studies and his thesis explores the impact of land use change on climate change in Brazil. Previously he studied meteorology in Hamburg and finished his master of science in 2012. As part of the WP1, he creates drought indices, develops climate model selection methods and provides meteorological observation and model data to other work packages.
